Day 8: Birthdays....

Today I celebrated 33 years of living!  Some of the moments have been amazing!  Some have caused many tears.  And others leave me in moments of wonder.  Overall, God has truly blessed me in so many ways.  Here's a very small list of my blessings:

1.  Family - I couldn't imagine life without the family God has allowed me to be apart of.  Both immediate and extended!  I know that I am extremely blessed to have a family that has been there with me thought the moments we can laugh and through the moments that have brought tears.
2.  Friends - Some near and some far.  Some that I talk to on a regular basis and others that we can pick up where ever and when ever we left off.  Others that briefly graced my life for but a brief moment and yet others where friendships have been built on years of trust and knowledge that no matter what we are there for each other.
3. My Church Family - I have been blessed to have two church families.  My church family I grew up with.  And the new church family I have come to love and adore.
4.  My career - Even though there are moments I think why do I do this???  I can't imagine life without spreadsheets and numbers!!
5.  My Home -  God has blessed me with the means for a warm home (although my brother would say I don't keep it warm enough in the winter).  A home that can entertain groups or just having only one person over for coffee.
6.  Laughter - This past year laughter has sometime felt like it hasn't come around much.  But even through the raindrops I have found a reason to laugh.  And there are always reasons for a good, practical joke!!!
7.  Health - I am blessed to be able to move around and really have little to no health issues.  I don't think being grumpy once and a while can be considered a health issues...probably affects others health more than my own.  :)
8.  Freedom -  The ability to really do what I want to do when I want to.  The fact that I live in a country that is so free.  Sometime I really take this one for granted.
9.  The Peace Country - My one friend always refers to the Peace Country as 'God's Country'.  He is from Ontario and every time he is here that is all I hear about... although I have to agree with him.  There are so many things to do and see here...if you are willing to put a little driving time in.  There is Red Willow Falls, Dunvegan, or even our pasture land up north.  We truly do live in a beautiful country!
10. Creativeness - To think, teachers from my past didn't always think I was very creative!  Hmmm, sure showed them.  Apparently I needed more of an outlet and age to help me along that path!
